Ayres House Winter Exhibition & 6th Anniversary

Ayres House Studios Marks 6 Years with Anniversary Event, Studio Opportunities & Winter Exhibition

Wallingford, Oxfordshire – Ayres House Studios is delighted to mark its 6th birthday with a series of celebrations and new creative opportunities for local makers, culminating in its annual Winter Exhibition from 29 November to 14 December 2025.

Celebrating Six Years of Creative Community

Since opening in October 2019, Ayres House Studios has grown into a vibrant home for artists and makers, offering affordable studio space, a shared gallery, and a setting for public engagement and connection with local audiences.

In recent years, the studios have also extended their offering to include a select number of Associate Members and Friends of Ayres House, with a focus on building creative connection for artists working independently in their own studios. This new initiative aims to expand the supportive network that Ayres House has become known for.

Studio members, Friends and Associates came together on 17 October for an intimate birthday gathering, sharing stories and celebrating the thriving creative community that has grown over the past six years.

Studio Spaces Available and an Invitation to Textile Makers & Jewellers

Ayres House currently has one good sized studio room on the ground floor and one half of a shared studio available to rent on the first floor. The building itself comprises 14 studios across three floors, along with a gallery/education room, kitchen, garden area and parking.

In addition, studio member Raph & Rose are seeking a talented practitioner working in textiles or a jeweller to share a studio space. This is an excellent opportunity for a textile artist or jeweller to join a supportive creative community and enjoy 24/7 access to the building.

Interested applicants are invited to contact Ayres House with a portfolio of work, a short artist statement, and details of space requirements.
