Easter at the Library

Easter Holidays

Come along to use our crafts table throughout the holidays to keep your little one’s fingers busy.

Animal Riddle Time- Tuesday 15th April, 10:30am

Local poet and author James Carter is hosting an hour of music, mayhem and madcap fun for little ones. Based on his animal themed poetry books, he will be hosting ‘Animal Riddle Time- What rhymes with Axolotl?’ The event is free with no need to book, and suitable for ages 4-400!

Storytime

Our next Storytime will be on Monday 7th April with an Easter themed craft session afterwards. Join us on the first Monday of each month at 3:30pm! It’s free to attend with no need to book.

Rhymetimes

Our Friday morning Rhymetimes will continue to run throughout April, including the Easter holidays.

Hot Cross Bun Competition

We’ve had a little cuddly hot cross bun arrive in the library but he/she needs a name! Visit the library and choose a name, and if you are the lucky winner, we will contact you on Saturday 19th, and you to get to take Little Bun home!

Secret Garden

Wild About Wallingford invite people to join them in the library garden from 10am on Friday 11th April. Tasks for all ages and abilities with free refreshments provided and a bug hunt for little ones.

My Vision

My Vision will be hosting their free coffee morning to support those with visual impairment on Monday 14th of April at 10:30am. This event is free with no need to book, just come along.

Family History Help

A volunteer from the Oxfordshire Family History Society will be here on Tuesday 10th April offering free appointments to help research family trees.

After Work Book Group

We are hoping to hear from anyone who is interested in joining a book group here at the library. We are looking at a monthly meeting held on a Thursday night from 5:50pm-6:50pm and we’d like to hear what sort of book group you’d be interested in; do you want to meet and discuss the books you’ve read, or would you like the group to read one title and get together and discuss it?

Please get in contact with the library to let us know.
